The World IP Review highlighted Herrick strengthening its Intellectual Property and Technology Group with the appointment of Milton Springut as a partner and Caroline Boehm as counsel. Both lawyers join from Moses & Singer, where they worked together on intellectual property disputes and brand protection matters.

The article noted that Milton, a litigator with nearly 30 years of experience, specializes in patent, trade secret, and intellectual property disputes. Before entering the legal profession, he developed computer hardware and software systems for Bell Telephone Laboratories, and he continues to advise clients on technologies such as computer processors, mobile payments, e-commerce, and medical devices.

Caroline focuses on trademark and copyright matters, frequently representing clients before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. She advises on trademark clearance, registration, maintenance and strategy.
