- Representing fiduciaries and beneficiaries in Surrogate's Court proceedings, including probate, administration, and related trust and estate matters.
- Advising individual and institutional fiduciaries throughout the estate and trust administration process.
- Reviewing and coordinating the preparation of federal and state estate tax, gift tax, and fiduciary income tax returns, including matters involving cross-border assets and international reporting issues.
- Counseling clients on business succession planning, charitable giving strategies, and multigenerational wealth transfer objectives.
- Collaborating with attorneys in the Firm's Corporate, Tax, Real Estate, Litigation, and Family Office practices to provide integrated advice to individuals, families, and closely held business owners, particularly in international and cross-border contexts.
- Developing and maintaining strong client and professional advisor relationships, including accountants, financial advisors, trust officers, and family office professionals.
- Participating in business development, thought leadership, and client education initiatives within the Private Clients practice.
