Justin Blass, Partner

Justin Blass is a partner in Herrick’s Corporate Department. Justin’s practice focuses on the representation of public and private companies in connection with complex transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic transactions. He also advises clients on general corporate governance matters, entity formations and securities compliance issues. He has particular experience representing clients in the sports, media, telecommunications and entertainment industries in a variety of matters, including significant M&A transactions.

Justin is also a member of Herrick’s nationally ranked Sports Law Group. Justin represents various sports industry stakeholders in corporate and transactional matters, including purchases and sales of team interests, investments in sports-related businesses properties, sponsorship agreements and media rights agreements. He also advises clients on various operational, regulatory and compliance matters.

Justin has been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch since 2023 in the areas of Corporate Law and Mergers and Acquisitions Law.

Prior to joining Herrick, Justin worked as a corporate associate at Baker Botts L.L.P. where his experience included representing clients in several multi-billion-dollar transactions.

While attending law school, Justin served at the Fordham University School of Law legal clinic, Lincoln Square Legal Services, where he represented limited resource investors in securities arbitration claims.
