Biography
Basil Sitaras is an attorney in Herrick’s Employment Group, where he provides advice and counsel to clients regarding various labor and employment laws. Basil’s experience includes advising on investigations, hiring and termination decisions, disciplinary actions, reductions in force, accommodations, workplace harassment, social media, privacy rights, family and medical leave, wage and hour compliance, exempt or non-exempt classification, and independent contractor designations. Basil’s experience also involves restrictive covenant agreements, separation agreements, assisting employers in assessing and responding to risks associated with departing employees, and counseling clients on issues involving the recruitment, hiring, and retention of new talent encumbered by post-employment obligations from prior employers.
