Urban Planning Post Graduation: A Conversation for Emerging Professionals
The goal of this event was to empower soon-to-be urban planning graduates as they enter the job market and begin navigating the urban planning field post-graduation. Hosted by the APA New York Metro Chapter’s Technology Committee, Student Representatives Committee and Young Planners Group.
We were joined by several professionals in the field, with a range of planning experience and backgrounds, who spoke candidly about their experiences and offered advice. The conversation informed the current pressure on the market due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Panelists included: Erica Mollon, AKRF; Doneliza Joaquin, Localize.city; Allie Thompson, The Climate Service; Nathanael Rotsko, NYC Dept. of Transportation and Herrick's Chair of Land Use & Zoning, Mitchell Korbey.
The conversation was moderated by Cameron Robertson of AKRF.
