Biography
Laini John has been with Herrick, Feinstein LLP since 2010 and has been the firm's Managing Attorney since 2015. Laini is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey. In her role as Managing Attorney, Laini is the firm’s authority on procedural matters in litigation, and advises the firm's attorneys on complex procedural issues arising in state and federal courts.
Laini manages the litigation calendar for Herrick's New York office, coordinates court filings and service of process, and ensures that court filings conform to court rules and requirements.
Laini is also a member of Herrick's pro bono committee and has worked with domestic violence survivors in Family Court and for United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.
Prior to joining Herrick, Laini worked in Managing Attorney Departments at Morrison & Foerester LLP and Sonnenschien Nath and Rosenthal LLP (now SNR Denton).
