Biography
Hunter Waters is an associate in Herrick's Restructuring & Finance Litigation Department where he focuses on complex financial litigation, bankruptcy litigation and corporate restructuring. His practice frequently involves litigating Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 cases, fraudulent transfer litigation, lender/creditor litigation, corporate governance disputes, out of court restructurings, liability management transactions, antitrust litigation and other commercial business disputes in state and federal court across a range of industries including healthcare, insurance, real estate and financial services.
Hunter represents debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, asset purchasers, creditor committees, hedge funds, private equity funds, public and privately held companies.
Prior to joining Herrick, Hunter was an associate at Wollmuth Maher & Deutsch LLP. Previously, Hunter served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Chief Judge Jennifer L. Attrep in the New Mexico Court of Appeals.
