Emerging Issues in Collegiate Athletics and Sports Law

Jermaine A. Brookshire, Jr., associate in Herrick’s Corporate Department and Sports Law Group, has been invited to serve as a guest lecturer in the Sports & Entertainment Law course within Southern Connecticut State University’s Master of Science in Sport and Entertainment Management Program. Jermaine will discuss legal and business issues shaping collegiate athletics, including NIL, the proposed Protect College Sports Act, sports betting and other emerging developments in the sports industry. He will also share insights into his diverse corporate transactional practice.
