Partner and co-chair of Herrick's Sports Law Group, Irwin Kishner, spoke on a panel hosted by the Austrian Trade Commission titled "The Future Development of Soccer in the USA." Designed to highlight the growing trends within the MLS, the making of a “soccer” identity in the US, and preparations for the upcoming 2026 World Cup, this two-hour panel served to build bridges between the Austrian and United States soccer communities.
Additional panelists included Lee Igel, Clinical Professor, Preston Robert Tisch Institute for Global Sport, Martin Kaswurm, CEO, Founder, Chaka2 Live Marketing, Saara Hassoun, Chief of Sporting Operations, Gotham FC and Andre Gheilerman, Data Scientist, IBM.
The panel included an introduction to Austrian-American sport relations and a Question and Answer session.
