In the wake of grocery chain Fairway filing for bankruptcy, Stephen Selbst, Chair of the Financial Litigation & Restructuring Department, spoke to CNBC about the rise of retail bankruptcies and the challenges retailers are facing. Stephen said, “[w]e deal with the sick industries, and retail has been a sick industry for a while....Retail is a tough business. If you lose that connection with shoppers, it is really hard to get them back.”
