Biography
Peter Livingston is senior counsel in Herrick's Real Estate Department where he concentrates his practice in cooperative and condominium law, real estate and litigation.
Peter has been retained by both the FDIC and RTC to represent their interests with respect to complex real estate foreclosure matters and related lender liability issues. He has represented cooperative corporations and condominium associations and their boards in both State and Federal Court litigation.
Peter is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and the New York State Bar Association Section on Litigation and a member of the Committee on Condominiums and Cooperatives. He frequently lectures and writes on issues regarding cooperatives and condominiums. In addition, he has served for over 10 years as a board member in the Manhattan cooperative in which he resides.
Prior to joining Herrick, Peter practiced law at Anderson Kill P.C., which prior to, he founded the firm Rosen Livingston & Cholst. Peter has also been a senior partner in the New York office of a 175-attorney firm which specialized in litigation.
