What recent project, transaction, or accomplishment are you most proud of?

I’m especially proud of my move to Herrick in 2022 and the continued growth of my practice because of that change. Change can be hard, but it has enabled me to evolve professionally and build on the strength of Herrick’s established real estate finance practice while we continue to grow the commercial finance practice. I was also able to reconnect with colleagues from earlier in my career, and being able to practice law with my dear friends has been beneficial and extremely rewarding.

What are the most important factors women in your industry should consider when choosing a firm to build their career with?

Look for a firm with a collaborative culture and women in positions of leadership. It’s important to be in a place where you can build a successful practice without compromising who you are.

Who inspires you most? What qualities do they possess that inspire you? 

I greatly respect creative people – those who question our assumptions, take big risks, innovate and are willing to fail in the pursuit of something new or better.
