Herrick partner and chair of Herrick’s Insurance & Reinsurance Group, Alan Lyons, was quoted in Reuters in an article discussing how U.S. insurers are strengthening language in policies that cover business losses to protect them from future claims related to the coronavirus pandemic or other widespread illnesses that disrupt operations.
“Rather than have those terms continue to be undefined, insurers are including definitions to expressly reference COVID-19 or other SARS-related viruses,” said Alan Lyons.
