Biography

Elizabeth Mancuso is an associate in Herrick’s Litigation Department, where she focuses her practice on a wide range of complex commercial litigation issues and white collar criminal defense. Elizabeth represents clients in state and federal courts, at both the trial and appellate levels. On the civil side, she advises clients on contract issues, business torts, and multi-party construction disputes. Through her white collar criminal defense practice, Elizabeth represents clients in investigations by the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, and other governmental agencies.

Prior to joining Herrick, Elizabeth was an associate in the Commercial & Criminal Litigation practice group at Gibbons P.C. Elizabeth also served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Anne M. Patterson, Associate Justice of the New Jersey Supreme Court. In that role, she authored comprehensive conference memoranda for oral arguments, composed recommendations on petitions for certification, and edited Court opinions.

Elizabeth also draws on her extensive engineering background from her time at Schiavone Construction Company, where, among other things, she managed multiple union-labor crews on large-scale projects like the Second Avenue Subway.
