Carol Goodman, co-chair of Herrick's Litigation Department and chair of the firm's Employment Practice, was a featured guest on SiriusXM's Wharton Business Daily podcast hosted by Dan Loney.

During the interview, Carol highlights considerations for employers given the emergence of the Omicron variant, upcoming holidays and the cold winter months. She also discusses the Biden Administration mandate and Mayor Bill de Blasio's recent announcement in New York City, mandating that all private sector employers implement mandatory vaccine policies effective December 27, regardless of their size.

Carol says many employers are not waiting for federal, state or local mandates to be in effect. “Companies want to stay in business and have already implemented vaccine, testing and/or mask policies to keep workers and patrons safe.”
