Irwin Kishner was quoted in Reuters, discussing how individual states will proceed following the Supreme Court’s decision to strike down the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act of 1992. While five states, including Connecticut, Mississippi, New York, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, already have sports betting laws in place that would allow them to move quickly, Kishner said, “It’s going to take years. Every state obviously is different. It’s not something that happens overnight.”
