Dan explained that while the county knew it’s minor league baseball team was a “business draw worth keeping,” management posed certain challenges that private investors may not face. In order to boost the team’s economic success and attract larger crowds to the stadium, Mandalay and the Yankees added better in-game entertainment and higher-end food options.
