November 10, 2011
Herrick, Feinstein LLP

2 Park Avenue

New York, NY

Herrick hosted William C. Thompson Jr., former two-term New York City comptroller and former president of the Board of Education. As the City's chief financial officer, Bill emphasized his watchdog role, frequently issuing audits about the management of City programs. He also oversaw the City's pension funds and advised the mayor and the City Council on municipal finances. In 2009, Bill was the City’s Democratic mayoral candidate, losing in a close race to Michael Bloomberg.
