The MFO Summit is exclusively for Multi-Family Property Owners who have a substantial multi-family portfolio and share common issues.

Jonathan Adelsberg moderated a panel with Adam Parkoff, The Parkoff Organization; Daniel Benedict, Benedict Realty Group; Moshe Goldberger, MPG Consulting; and Adam Mermelstein, Treetop Development titled “Surviving and Thriving in NY.” They discussed practical, tested strategies for how to succeed in the current regulatory environment and how the current state of the market affects landlords in New York City.

Scott Mollen moderated, “Current Litigation: Tackling NYC Housing Policies Unfriendly to Landlords and Small Business Owners” with Jonathan Sperling, Covington & Burling LLP; Kara Rakowski Esq., Belkin, Burden & Goldman; and Jay Martin, Community Housing Improvement Program. They discussed the Housing Stability and Tenant Protection Act of 2019, rent regulation and how a broad array of topics from security deposits to eviction procedures has prompted a series of lawsuits.
