Berna is a licensed Foreign Legal Consultant at Herrick. She regularly advises foreign corporations on navigating government complexities in the Republic of Turkey, and is adept at helping clients analyze, and obtain governmental approvals required to establish and expand their Turkish operations.
Berna studied at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York where she obtained her LL.M. degree in intellectual property law. During her studies at Cardozo she was selected to The National Dean’s List for the 2003-04 term. After law school, Berna worked in New York at KLF, PLLC. She then returned to Turkey, where she has been successfully litigating complicated international cases. In addition to being a litigator, she is an admitted trademark attorney in Turkey. She is also the co-author of the Turkish Law Chapter in the book of International Commercial Secured Transactions (Carswell, 2010).
