Freedland, partner and co-chair of Herrick's Condominium & Cooperative Practice and Mark Limardo, partner in Herrick's Tax Department, were featured panelists at the Council of New York Cooperatives & Condominiums' (CNYC) CLE webinar examining the new pied-a-terre tax and the requirements set out in the Department of Finance’s proposed rules.

Attendees gained insights on how to prepare yourself or your co-op/condo in the event you need to prove primary residency or protest your assigned market value. The panel provided insight on how to advocate for common-sense changes, and what this may mean for real estate tax reform going forward.
