The New York Law Journal covered the "Milton Mollen Annual Moot Court Competition" that occurred on October 28 at St. John’s University School of Law. Scott Mollen, Herrick litigation partner, served on the panel of presiding judges. Other judges included:

  • Retired Court of Appeals Judge Carmen Beauchamp Ciparick
  • Retired Appellate Division, Second Department Justice Ariel Belen
  • Retired Appellate Term, First Department Justice Sherry Klein Heitler
  • Second Department Justice Valerie Brathwaite Nelson

The bench heard arguments in a case involving Fourth Amendment rights and the validity of a search warrant after police officers entered an apartment building through an unlocked door with a drug-sniffing dog in tow.
