Herrick, Feinstein LLP is proud to announce that Megan E. Thompson has joined its Real Estate and Corporate Departments. Megan brings an extensive background in corporate finance that she will leverage across multiple groups at Herrick, a mid-sized firm with more than 140 practicing lawyers. Megan joins Herrick as a partner, previously working at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC, where she practiced for almost 12 years.

Megan’s practice is focused on commercial lending transactions and financial services. Megan has significant experience advising financial institutions on a wide variety of loan transactions, including secured and unsecured loan transactions, asset-based financings, syndicated financings, acquisition financings, leveraged financings and sponsor financings. Many of these representations involve cross-border debt and complex intercreditor relationships. She also brings to Herrick her significant experience advising lenders and borrowers in connection with recurring monthly revenue (RMR) financings in the home security, medical alert and fire monitoring industries.

While working on national finance transactions, Megan’s practice has grown out of Pittsburgh, PA and she will maintain this connection to the area after joining Herrick.

"We are thrilled to start off 2023 welcoming Megan to the firm," said Chair of Herrick’s Real Estate Department, Belinda Schwartz. "Megan has built a reputation as an accomplished finance attorney, and she brings even more depth to Herrick’s exceptional Real Estate and Corporate Departments."
