The Brooklyn Jewish Historical Initiative’s Hall of Fame

Elizabeth Holtzman was inducted into The Brooklyn Jewish Historical Initiative’s Hall of Fame, an organization devoted to celebrating members of Brooklyn’s Jewish community and their significant contributions to the world. She was presented with the award in acknowledgement of her extraordinary accomplishments, which include being the first woman to hold office as the New York City Comptroller, and the District Attorney of Kings County, NY. Other inductees included lawyer and political commentator Alan Dershowitz and New York Senator Chuck Schumer.
