Liz Holtzman wrote an op-ed for the New York Daily News, discussing the need for the New York City government to undertake a thorough assessment of its own practices on sexual harassment in the light of the #MeToo movement. With there being no systematic appraisal of sexual harassment policies, Holtzman expressed the need for a city-wide audit. She said, “New York City government should be part of the solution to the problem of sexual harassment — and needs to assure all of us that that is the role it is actively playing.”
