2026 City & State New York: Who’s Who in Affordable Housing
Congratulations to Herrick Real Estate partner, Brett Gottlieb, who was recognized by City & State New York in their inaugural Who's Who in Affordable Housing list.
City & State New York noted, "As city and state officials contend with a persistent lack of adequate housing in New York, the inaugural Who's Who in Affordable Housing list recognizes the developers, advocates, activists, elected and appointed officials and others who are part of the solution."
Brett was recognized for guiding "owners and developers through New York City’s ever-evolving housing incentive regulations, from the successor to the former 421-a tax incentive to conversion programs that unlock housing from underused buildings. As the fiscal year 2025 state budget reshaped housing rules, [Brett] helped clients understand how the new laws apply to real estate projects, advising on eligibility, rent stabilization and compliance details that often determine whether projects move forward."
