Biography
Steven B. Smith focuses his practice on complex corporate restructuring and bankruptcy litigation, including in and out-of-court workouts. He has extensive experience representing lenders/borrower/investors in distressed real estate situations, official and ad-hoc creditor committees, distressed debt investors and bondholders, administrative and collateral agents, stalking horse and other asset purchasers and other significant parties-in-interest in a variety of jurisdictions across the United States.
Additionally, Steve is also experienced in the analysis of non-consolidation, bankruptcy remoteness and true sale principles in opinion and related contexts and has lectured on the topic on numerous occasions.
