Samuel Bazian is an associate in Herrick's Litigation Department. His practice is focused on complex commercial litigation, and employment and real estate litigation.

Sam has substantial experience litigating trial and appellate cases in New York state courts. He was a key member of the Herrick team which defeated two lawsuits seeking to halt the construction of a $320 million hotel and condominium project in Brooklyn Bridge Park; secured the dismissal of multiple causes of action against a garment manufacturer in a purported shareholder derivative suit; obtained the pre-trial dismissal of claims for breach of fiduciary duty, corporate waste and an accounting on behalf of partners in a venture to develop a medical office building; and secured the complete dismissal of a discrimination action filed against a leading real estate brokerage firm, a ruling which was successfully defended on plaintiffs’ appeal.

During law school, Sam served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Joanna Seybert, United States District Court, Eastern District of New York, and later worked as a legal extern with the United States Attorney's Office, Eastern District of New York.
