Herrick Names Two New Partners
Herrick, Feinstein LLP promoted three attorneys to partner, effective January 1, 2017. All of the new partners are based in Herrick's New York City office.
Herrick’s Litigation Department adds two new partners.
- Janice Goldberg focuses on complex commercial litigation, including litigation arising out of bankruptcy matters. In 2016, Janice was part of the Herrick team that secured a notable Appellate Division, Second Department victory for a private client, involving the rare overturning of a multi-million-dollar Beth Din (rabbinical court) arbitration award. Recently, she also successfully defended several New York City commercial real estate owners and managing agents in an Appellate Division, First Department appeal of a proposed class action claim, filed by plaintiffs who sought rent refunds for loss of services during Hurricane Sandy.
Herrick's Real Estate Department adds Dena Cohen as partner.
- Dena focuses on office and retail leasing transactions, ground leases, and real estate sales and acquisitions. Recently, Dena advised a major New York City developer in the assembling, acquisition and ground leasing of properties for development in New York City. Dena also counseled Greystar Real Estate Partners in the $211 million acquisition and financing of a multifamily building in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood, and The World-Wide Group and Cammeby's International, as owner, in the ground leasing of a $220 million Class A tower in Chicago, Illinois.
