Mitch Korbey was quoted in Crain’s New York Business discussing the resignation of Meenakshi Srinivasan, Head of the Landmarks Preservation Commission. Srinivasan was appointed by Mayor Bill de Blasio in 2014 and has since protected 3,800 historic properties from demolition or out-of-context alteration. Korbey said, “She is an exemplary public servant. She has the courage to make the right choices and find balance between the commission’s core mission of preservation and the need for occasional flexibility.”
