CBS Kept Using Licensed TM, Fantasy Sports Co. Says

Barry Werbin was mentioned in Law360 for representing Scout Fantasy in a lawsuit accusing CBS Interactive Inc. of attempting to steal Scout Fantasy’s brand. Scout Fantasy’s parent company, Fulltime, ended a business deal with CBSi after the company’s repeated failure to pay on time, but CBSi continued running Scout logos and trademarks months after the deal ended. Fulltime claims the company continues to run a website that’s nearly identical to their own, in attempt to trick its customers into signing up for the wrong site. Fulltime is suing for breach of contract, trademark infringement, false advertisement, conversion and unfair trade practices, among other things.
