Amid Affordable Housing Crisis, Micro-Housing Development Picks Up Steam

Mitchell Korbey was quoted in the Commercial Observer, discussing the growing trend in small-apartment living. Korbey defined micro-units, saying, “as general rule of thumb we’re talking about units that are about 300 to 350 square feet, sometimes a bit less.” He further went on to discuss the appeals of living in such apartments as they help save money, particularly in expensive rental markets such as San Francisco and other big cities.
