Turkish Philanthropy Funds (TPF) is the first diaspora organization of the Turkish-American community in the US that employs the community foundation model and aims to increase philanthropy among the Turkish-American community in general. The foundation was created to provide a structure in which US friends of Turkey, including but not limited to individual and corporate donors, can channel their gifts to a variety of worthy charitable causes.
The TPF Scholarship Program provides support to students in Turkey. Panelists at this event discussed the educational needs in Turkey and how the Scholarship Program works to address those needs.
