Irwin and Carl discuss the similarities and differences in sports gambling in the United Kingdom and the United States and the current state of the law in both regions of the world. The conversation includes a discussion of the history gambling in both jurisdictions, the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to strike down the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PAPSA), integrity issues faced by the industry, data collection and privacy issues related to wagering and the future of wagering and gambling in both jurisdictions.
