Biography

Nina Kimenker is counsel in Herrick's Real Estate Department. Nina has represented landlords, developers, REITs and tenants, negotiating and drafting the broad array of real estate and related documents required for commercial real estate transactions, including leasing, acquisitions and dispositions and real estate financing on behalf of borrowers.

Nina has negotiated office, medical and retail leases and subleases for landlords and tenants for every size space. She has prepared in-line, big box and stand-alone leases, ground leases, subleases, master leases and outparcel leases, and has prepared workletters, SNDAs, brokerage agreements, solar generation and services agreements and other agreements incident to the leasing process.

Nina has handled real estate purchases and sales ranging from the purchase of a single property to portfolio transactions involving multiple properties in different states. She has negotiated and drafted documents for the entire acquisition process, including letters of intent, option and purchase contracts, conveyance documents, easement and escrow agreements, loan documents, opinions of counsel and settlement statements. She has conducted comprehensive real estate due diligence, including title, survey, zoning, environmental, engineering, lease and estoppel review.

Prior to joining Herrick, Nina practiced commercial real estate law with Sacks Law Group, P.C. for more than 20 years. Nina started her career in corporate tax law.
