Irwin Kishner was quoted in the Daily Mail, discussing professional sports leagues’ requests to gain revenue from legal sports betting to pay for their efforts to keep their sports clean from gamblers' influence. State lawmakers have opposed the possibility of paying the leagues integrity fees. Kishner said, “The leagues that control that content are trying to find a way to get their piece of the action. [Integrity fee], to me, is a sort of mis-characterization. All leagues currently have very robust integrity features in how they run, govern, and operate. They have investigative forces.”
