Irwin Kishner was quoted in Raiders Wire, a USA Today publication, discussing the Clark County hotel tax earnings designated for construction of the Raiders’ new Las Vegas stadium missing expectations. The tax has fallen short of expectations in four of the last five months, and missed by 14 percent in February. The tax was designed to offset the nearly $1 billion in loans the Raiders will have to pay over the next 10 years for the relocation and its related fees. Kishner said, “When you start looking at the size of the debt, you also have to start looking at the size of the revenue streams available to pay off that debt. You could attract bowl games, concerts, all kinds of opportunities.”
