Herrick Wins M&A Atlas Award for Americas Distressed M&A Deal of the Year

Herrick was awarded Americas Distressed M&A Deal of the Year by the Global M&A Network for the firm's work on the EOS Hospitality acquisition of the William Vale Hotel, a luxury hotel in Brooklyn. Herrick served as legal counsel to debtor Wythe Berry Fee Owner in this matter which initially began as a lease dispute and ended years later with the $177 million sale of the hotel, resulting in a rare Chapter 11 case where all creditors were paid in full.

The awards were presented at the 16th Annual Americas & Global Markets M&A Atlas Awards held February 6 at the Metropolitan Club in New York. Herrick partners Janice Goldberg and Stephen Selbst accepted the award on behalf of the team. 

The Americas & Global M&A Atlas Awards honor the best value-creating deals, outstanding firms, and legendary dealmakers from the North and Latin America corporate, investor, and transactional communities, according to the Global M&A Network website.
