Herrick Snags Ex-Quinn Emanuel Litigation Attorney In New York
Herrick's Restructuring & Finance Litigation co-chair Sean E. O’Donnell and partner John H. Chun spoke to Law360 about John's recent move to Herrick. John reflected, "I've always known Herrick to have one of the premier litigation practices in the city, but what caught my attention in recent years was the added dimension that Sean O'Donnell brought to the litigation practice," and explained, "I was presented with a number of opportunities to join a variety of litigation platforms, but I was waiting for the right one. It was a unique opportunity to join a rapidly expanding and sophisticated litigation practice at a top-tier, full-service law firm."
Sean, who graduated Fordham Law School with John, said, "I couldn't be more thrilled to have John over here." Sean added, "He's an accomplished litigator and a seasoned trial lawyer. He's somebody who I've known since law school, and I find him to have the wonderful combination of being both brilliant and humble. He deepens our bench even further, and we have a talented group of lawyers here who excel at complex, high-stakes litigation, so John is a much-needed addition to help us maintain and grow that practice."
The article stated: "Since the start of 2019, Herrick has added 14 new attorneys to its restructuring and finance litigation group, including four partners. O'Donnell said he attributes the rapid growth to the successful track record of his team, and that he hopes for the expansion and positive results to continue over the next few years."
