Herrick Names Jalise Burt as Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Pathfinder
Herrick, Feinstein LLP is pleased to announce that associate Jalise Burt will join the 2021 class of Pathfinders, participating in a program designed by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) to train high-performing, early-career attorneys in critical career development strategies including leadership and the building of professional networks.
“We congratulate Jalise on her selection to the LCLD Pathfinders program,” said Barbaros Karaahmet, Herrick’s Chief Operating Partner. “She has demonstrated a commitment to Herrick’s diversity, inclusion and equity initiatives and has the potential to thrive, not only in our Firm, but in the profession. Through the Pathfinder Program, Jalise will have an opportunity to further develop her leadership and business development skills.”
According to LCLD President Robert J. Grey, Jr., “The LCLD Pathfinder Program offers participants intensive training, online experiential learning, and opportunities to network with peers and esteemed LCLD Fellows and Alumni in small group gatherings. We believe it’s a program that can enhance a person’s career.”
Designed to supplement training initiatives at LCLD Member corporations and law firms, the Pathfinder Program provides participants with practical tools for developing and leveraging internal professional networks, foundational leadership skills, and an understanding of career development strategies. Further, each Pathfinder is matched with a Program Facilitator, a mentor who plays a key role in helping Pathfinders connect what they learn in the program to the organization in which they work.
Pathfinders are selected by leaders at LCLD member corporations and law firms. They have been identified as diverse, early-career emerging leaders who have, or have the potential to, distinguish themselves within their organization.
