Law360 featured a story on the expansion of Herrick's Tax Department with the addition of veteran transactional attorney Mark A. Limardo. In the article, Mark noted that he chose to join the firm "because its platform would allow him to expand his existing practice, especially in the real estate area." Mark further expressed his enthusiasm to join the team, stating, "[t]hey give me a capability that will really open up some doors that I haven't been able to fully open yet[.]" He noted, "They're bringing a lot of great people, and another thing that really attracted me to Herrick was that it looks like they have a clear vision of where they want to go."

Mark highlighted, "[o]ne of the things I really like is getting in with the client and looking at the financials to see how the tax side can be used to improve their returns[.]" He reflected, "I have no problems rolling up my sleeves and diving into complicated spreadsheets to make sure that the client is getting every tax advantage they can."

Tax Department chair, Louis Tuchman, was also quoted, stating that "Mark's broad tax transactional experience builds on many of the key strengths of Herrick's tax department." He added that Mark "brings extensive knowledge in advising clients on tax credit deals involving new market tax credits and historic tax credits, among others, which are key areas for our clients, and his addition brings even further depth to our practice as we continue to provide high-level service to clients across the firm."
