Herrick, Feinstein Appoints Schwartz as First Female Chair

Bloomberg Law featured the news that Herrick has named Belinda G. Schwartz as Executive Chair of the firm. She will also lead the firm’s Executive Committee.

Belinda succeeds Irwin A. Kishner, who has served as Herrick’s Executive Chairman since 2010. Irwin, who steps down as he reaches his term limit, will continue as a member of the Executive Committee and will continue to lead Herrick’s nationally recognized Sports Law Group.

Irwin noted that Herrick is "not everything to everybody, but what we do, we do really well, and that’s going to be a continued building block in my opinion as we move forward."

Belinda notes that her vision includes expanding profitability at Herrick. This focus will include building a brand in markets and practice areas where Herrick views itself as standing out. This includes real estate, state court litigation and sports.
