Herrick Feinstein Adds Commercial Litigation Partner In NY
Newest partner in the Litigation Department, Eliad S. Shapiro, spoke with Law360 about his decision to join the firm and how Herrick provides the ideal full-service platform to elevate his legal practice.
The article noted that Eliad is an experienced commercial litigation attorney who recently joined Herrick as a partner. He said he left his partner role at Moses & Singer LLP due to Herrick having "the right full-service platform to service my clients and take my law practice to the next level."
"The firm's deep bench of sophisticated lawyers in litigation, real estate, corporate and other practice groups will benefit my clients immensely," Eliad explained. He has represented clients such as developers, commercial tenants, high-net-worth individuals, commercial property owners, family offices, corporations, investment funds and offshore trusts. He highlighted that Herrick's "stellar bench of lawyers across all its practice groups" will also be beneficial for his clients.
"In the past, I've won my clients results such as obtaining dismissal on behalf of a high-net-worth offshore family trust in an action by foreign lenders to recover approximately $60 million and obtaining dismissal of multimillion-dollar claims for breach of commercial lending agreement on behalf of my borrower client," said Eliad about his past work.
