Herrick Adds 7-Lawyer Co-Op and Condo Team From Anderson Kill
The 2020 growth of Herrick was featured in the New York Law Journal on January 11, 2021. Herrick welcomed partners, Bruce A. Cholst, Andrew B. Freedland, Deborah Koplovitz, Karol S. Robinson and Andrew J. Wagner, senior counsel, Peter I. Livingston and associate, Devin W. Ness. The team brings over 40 years of experience representing the boards of cooperatives and condominiums and management companies throughout the New York metropolitan area.
The NYLJ reports, "The wider offering of practices at Herrick was a draw for the group, according to Koplovitz. She said her team’s clients, all of which are moving from Anderson Kill with them, will benefit from Herrick’s work in areas such as affordable housing, corporate tax, litigation and zoning."
The article continues, "Herrick brought on the group to further strengthen its real estate department, which now has more than 50 lawyers. Scott Mollen, a real estate partner with the firm, said the move "adds to our depth and breadth of our real estate practice," agreeing with Koplovitz that the new attorneys' "client base has needs that include other areas where Herrick is strong, such as corporate, tax, and creditors rights."
