Gen. Kelly’s outrageously offensive defense of President Trump

Liz Holtzman wrote an op-ed for the New York Daily News, discussing Trump’s chief of staff, John Kelly, and the comments he made about Rep. Frederica Wilson in defending the president’s condolence phone call to the widow of a soldier killed in Niger. Holtzman claimed that his comments made at the press briefing were deceitful, disgraceful and deeply sexist. She suggested that it is time for him to “tell the truth and take the consequences.”
