Real Estate Management Company – Secured Dismissal of Discrimination Claims

Herrick represented a rental manager and agent for approximately 6,000 apartments in the Bronx, New York, in connection with claims brought by New York City and the Fair Housing Justice Center regarding allegations that our client violated the City Human Rights Law by applying its minimum income formula to voucher recipients. The manager and the City agreed to fully and finally settle all issues. As part of the settlement, the City will withdraw several pending lawsuits and release our client from all past claims.
