Post Zoning: Alternative Forms of Public Land Use Controls

February 10, 2012
Brooklyn Law School

Mitch Korbey spoke at the Brooklyn Law School symposium, “Post Zoning: Alternative Forms of Public Land Use Controls.” The event featured some of the nation’s top land use theorists discussing the rise of non-zoning land use controls, used increasingly by governments to control development within their jurisdictions.

Mitch joined New York City Councilman Brad Lander; Vicki Been, Director of NYU’s Furman Center for Real Estate and Urban Policy; and land use law professors from Notre Dame, Columbia, Dartmouth and the University of California in a lively discussion at Brooklyn Law’s Subotnick Center in Downtown Brooklyn.
