Jillian P. Levitt is an associate in Herrick's Real Estate Department where she focuses her practice on transactional and regulatory real estate matters, as well as real estate litigation.

Jillian represents borrowers and lenders in connection with mortgages and commercial loans secured by real property. She negotiates and drafts leases on behalf of landlords and tenants for commercial and residential property. Jillian negotiates and prepares contracts for buyers and sellers for the purchase and sale of real property. She also has experience with trusts and estates including handling estate sales and trust transfers.

Jillian advises clients on federal, state and city affordable housing rules and regulations, including the Mitchell-Lama program, section eight vouchers, SCRIE, rent control, and rent stabilization. Additionally, Jillian advises cooperative and condominium boards on regulatory matters and governance.

Jillian also has experience with real estate litigation matters in New York Appellate, Supreme and Civil Courts.

While in law school, Jillian was the Managing Editor of Articles for the Hofstra Labor & Employment Law Journal.
