Biography
Dov Weinstock is counsel in Herrick's Real Estate Department where he represents high profile clients in all aspects of real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions and the financing of property in the U.S. and abroad. Always working towards the swift closing of transactions, Dov balances his strong negotiation skills with his pragmatic approach to his client's business.
Dov focuses his strengths on negotiating sophisticated and complex joint ventures and preferred equity investments on behalf of sponsors and investors alike. He works closely with tax advisors to combine strategic tax planning with the most advantageous joint venture structure for his clients.
Dov also concentrates his practice on real estate funds including fund formation. Together with our securities team, he seamlessly bridges the business terms with the fund's legal requirements, adding value-add for clients.
Prior to joining Herrick, Dov worked with real estate teams at other major New York law firms including Wachtel Missry LLP and Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson, LLP.
