Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Leadership Lunch
Executive Chairman, Irwin Kishner, and partners Leah Kelman and Shivani Poddar participated in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity's ("LCLD") virtual leadership lunch, alongside the General Counsel of a public tech company. The agenda and purpose was focused on diversity, mentorship and leadership skills. The leadership lunch is a integral part of LCLD's landmark fellows program, which was launched in 2011, and was designed to connect high-potential and diverse attorneys from law firms with in-house attorneys of major corporations. Part of the programming includes leadership lunches, co-hosted by LCLD member corporations and law firms, during which leaders from both interact with 15 or fewer fellows. Shivani is a 2020 LCLD Fellow.
Herrick is a proud member of LCLD, which was founded in 2009, and is comprised of more than 300 corporate chief legal officers of major corporations and law firm managing partners, working to build a more open and diverse legal profession. LCLD's programs are "designed to attract, inspire and nurture the talent in society and within our organizations, thereby helping a new and more diverse generation of attorneys ascend to positions of leadership."
